Each semester, LCC gives its students the opportunity to showcase work from their classes during StarScapes.
The 2021 spring semester StarScapes is set to take place virtually Monday, April 26 through Friday, April 30. During this week, students, staff, faculty and other LCC community members will be able to view the presentations and make comments. The presentations can be viewed 24/7.
According to the StarScapes website, “StarScapes is a student showcase of creative, imaginative, and interesting work. Presentations include projects produced for LCC classes, as well as work developed through students’ own independent study and research.
“StarScapes is an opportunity for students to share research, capstone presentations, honors option projects, or other work with the LCC community.”
Melinda Wilson, LCC professor and event co-coordinator, said students can share almost anything. Some examples include research projects, poetry, music and videos.
“The LCC community can enrich their LCC experience by participating in StarScapes,” Wilson said. “It will expose people to the incredibly talented students that attend LCC. Through StarScapes, students may discover other courses or activities happening at LCC that they were not aware of.”
