The LCC American Marketing Association is hosting a Marketing Week with online events, guest speakers and giveaways Monday, Jan. 25 through Friday, Jan. 29.

AMA Co-Adviser Adrienne Jenkins said all LCC students, faculty, staff and community members can sign up to participate in Marketing Week by going to https://www.lccama.org/marketing-week.

LCC AMA President Patrick Vreibel said four speakers will share valuable information during the week.

“On Monday we have Eric King, agent/owner of the Eric King Agency, at 4 p.m. via Webex; on Wednesday we have Devon Block speaking,” Vreibel said. “She is a brand manager for the hit TV show ‘Small Business Revolution,’ at 4 p.m. via Webex.

“Thursday consists of Erika Morgan, (LCC and AMA alumnus and) owner of ‘Up the Crick’ who will be speaking at 5 p.m. via Webex. On Friday we will conclude with a celebration kicked off by Melik Brown, founder of ‘Lansing Made’ at 6 p.m.”

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26, Aldaco’s Authentic Mexican in Lansing is sponsoring “Taco Tuesday” as part of the Marketing Week events.

Everyone who calls between Jan. 26 and Jan. 31 and mentions LCC AMA will receive a free taco with any purchase of $10 or more. This deal is only available with pick-up.

Additionally, Vreibel said AMA will draw names throughout the week to win a free membership to the chapter, and gift cards to Cravings Gourmet Popcorn.

On Friday, AMA will draw names for a free three-credit class at LCC.

“I am most excited about giving away a free three-credit class, if you are an LCC student,” Vreibel said. “The more (events) that you attend the better chance of winning.”

Anyone interested in participating in AMA Marketing Week can visit lccama.org for more information.

“Students and staff should participate because of what you can learn during our marketing week,” Vreibel said. “Students and staff will be able to build your network and grow your skillset!  Any student or staff can win prizes, whether it’s a $20 gift card for Cravings Gourmet Popcorn or an LCC AMA swag bag.”
