You won’t have to go far this summer to enjoy some live music by national and regional music performances, as well as great food and drinks.

The 18th Common Ground music festival is taking place in Lansing July 6 to 9 in Adado Riverfront Park, across from Lansing Community College.

This year’s music festival will feature a wide array of music genres, including top artists like Alessia Cara, Toby Keith, Big Sean, Fetty Wap, AJR and more.

Jenna Meyer, a Meridian Entertainment and festival marketing director, commented on this year’s event.

“Common Ground has been located in Lansing since its inception in 2000, which came about when there was a void in the market,” Meyer said. “Adado Riverfront Park is a great setting for an outdoor music festival.”

The multiple-day music festival has become a premier music festival in Mid-Michigan. This July, Meyer said she anticipates more than 40,000 people will to attend Common Ground.
