Personal Information

I'm married and my husband XiaoYu Wu is a senior accelerator physicist at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University (MSU). My son Denton is 12 years old. My hobbies include running, swimming, playing violin, and reading.

 

Education Background

Teaching Experience

I started as a full time faculty member in the Math/Computer Science Department at Lansing Community College (LCC) in the summer of 1996. The courses I have taught include Calculus Sequence, College Algebra and Trigonometry, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. I'm proud to be a math professor and enjoy communicating with my students.

Sabbatical/Professional Development Leave: Fall 2009

In the fall of 2009, I will be on my sabbatical/professional development leave. My sabbatical/professional development leave project is to develop three sets of Maple projects for the calculus sequence at LCC: Math 151, Math 152 and Math 253.
