Online Activities/Letter for
Week 1
|
|
Step 1: Write online activity letter.
|
|
|
This week, our online activities will be light. For week 1, I'd like you to
give me your first impressions about the work we'll be doing this
semester based on your past experience with writing, the syllabus and
your participation in class.
- Before you do, make sure to read through our
syllabus that I
highlighted on Monday. And look through our texts, especially Ideas &
Details since it has assigned reading for next week.
- If you have any questions after reviewing the syllabus, don't
hesitate to post them in Question Central on our Angel course site.
|
|
Step 2: Send
me your letter.
Do not email me your letter.
Instead, use the Letter drop box
found at Pages & Workspaces>Week 1>Letter drop box.
And make sure to upload it into the Letter drop box,
not the Writing Sample drop box.
- Attach your letter. And make sure you
first save the letter in rich text format (RTF)
before sending.
This letter is due Saturday midnight,
9/1/2007, though do review the grace period in the
syllabus.
|
|
| Grading letters Again, as your syllabus states,
- Each letter and online
activity is worth up to 10
points.
- In your letter,
- a hundred words expressing your thoughts about your writing or reading
for this class will earn you 7 points.
- You'll need to write two-hundred words or more
with insight and thoughtfulness and you will need to participate
well beyond the minimum requirements in the online activities to earn the 10
points.
